Common questions
How do I install and take my first backup?
Install from the Shopify App Store, open Leira in your admin, and click “Take snapshot.” The first backup runs in the background and verifies itself when done.
How does restore work?
Open Browse & restore, pick the item and version, review the field-level diff, then restore. Leira takes an automatic safety snapshot first, so the restore can be undone.
Where is my data stored?
In the EU only — an EU-region database for metadata and EU-jurisdiction object storage for backups. There is no US data path.
How do I cancel or change plans?
Billing is handled by Shopify. Change or cancel from your Shopify admin under Settings → Apps and sales channels → Leira; your price is grandfathered for as long as you stay subscribed.
